Merchandising Workbench
Redirect queries to static pages
Redirects allow you to route users to a particular page of your preference. This is useful when you want your shoppers to view products relevant to their queries from your catalog. For instance, if you create a landing page for products related to Thanksgiving, redirect your shoppers to this page whenever they search for products related to Thanksgiving.
How to setup redirects for a specific query?
1
Navigate to Redirects
- Login to Netcore Unbxd’s self-serve console ↗
- From the Site Key Picker, click the site you want to apply a merchandising strategy.
- After selecting the appropriate site key, navigate to Merchandising.
- Hover over Search and click Redirects.
2
Set up the campaign
- On the Redirects overview page, navigate to Add redirect.
- You’ll go to the Add banners interface.
- Enter the Query for which you want to set up redirects—this is the search term you expect your shopper to use.
- To apply the same rule to additional queries, click + Apply same rule to more queries, add queries separated by commas, and press Enter.
- Enter a Campaign Name for internal reference.
- Select a Segment from the list to target specific shopper groups or click + Create New Segment to make a custom/new one.
- Set the Duration for the campaign, including the Time Zone, Start and End dates, and times.
- For an open-ended campaign, enable Run Perpetually. This option allows you to run any campaign until it is manually stopped.
- Optionally, add a Description for future reference.
- When finished, click Next to proceed.
3
Configuring the redirect
- Enter the redirect URL. Make sure the URL entered is publicly accessible and operational. Netcore Unbxd will not determine the validity of the URL provided.
