Search Preview
Enter query to view products and performance insights of your website.
The Search Preview feature lets you test how your customers will see products when they search on your website. It shows you the actual results, filters, and sorting logic before going live.
You can use this to:
- Check if the right products show up for the search terms.
- Validate sort order and filters.
- Preview your merchandising campaigns.
Steps to Access Search Preview
- On the Unbxd console, click SEARCH PREVIEW in the top-right corner.
- Use the search bar at the top to type a keyword, for example,
dressand press Enter or click the search icon. You can view the total number of products found and the preview of how products appear to shoppers.

Navigate to Search Preview
On the top-right corner, you can switch between the view modes.

| Debug View | Shows backend data like boost scores (for QA/testing) |
| Table View | Shows all the fields of a specific product to a Merchandiser. |
Default View
The Default View in Search Preview allows you to visualise how search results will appear to end users on the storefront. It helps merchandisers and product teams validate the relevance, ranking, and product presentation of results before changes go live.
By default, results are displayed in a card-based grid layout, similar to a typical eCommerce product listing page.

| Product Cards | Product image | Displays the primary product image as shown on the storefront. |
| Product ID | Unique identifier for the product. | |
| Product title | Name of the product returned for the query. | |
| Price | Displays the product price. | |
| Category metadata | Shows category IDs and category names associated with the product. | |
| Variant information | Indicates the number of variants and shows thumbnail previews when available. | |
| Filters & Insights | Filters | Apply attribute-based filters to narrow down search results. |
| View Insights | Access analytics and performance insights related to the search query. |
Debug View
The Debug View provides a transparent explanation of how products are ranked in Search and Browse results. It breaks down the key algorithms and signals influencing each product’s position, helping you understand why a product ranks where it does. For more details, refer here.
Table View
The Table View presents search and browse results in a structured, tabular format, enabling quick inspection and comparison of product data across multiple attributes. It allows you to scan key fields such as product identifiers, pricing, category metadata, variants, and ranking-related information in a single view.
