Propagate Rules Across Sites in One Click

Managing rules across multiple sites just got easier. Rule Propagation lets teams propagate selected rules from one site to one or more destination sites without recreating them manually.

Propagate Promotions, Collections, Segments, Badges, Banners, Redirects, Facets, Field Properties, Searchable Fields, and more, while automatically handling the dependencies those rules rely on.

What’s New

  • Propagate rules across multiple sites. Select individual rules or multiple rules at once and push them to specific sites or a saved Site Group.
  • Smart dependency handling. Dependencies required by the selected rules are automatically created at the destination when needed.
  • Flexible conflict resolution. Choose Skip to leave existing destination rules unchanged, or Override to update destination rules with the source configuration.
  • Review before you propagate. See destinations, dependencies, and total entity counts at a glance, with excluded sites clearly flagged before propagation begins.
  • Track progress in real time. Monitor propagation across each destination site and view detailed results for every rule and dependency.
  • Export detailed reports. Email a complete report of the propagation results for review or record keeping.

With Rule Propagation, the main site can serve as the source of truth across managed sites, reducing repetitive work and making it easier to keep rules consistent across destinations.

Sort Mixed-Value Facets the Way Shoppers Expect

Facets with values like 0.75kg, 1kg, 5kg, 7kg, and 7.5kg no longer have to sort like plain text.

Unbxd now supports Text Numeric fields, allowing alphanumeric facet values with decimals and units to be sorted in the correct numeric order. Choose ascending or descending order to make filters easier to scan and more intuitive for shoppers.

What’s new

  • Support for alphanumeric facet values with numbers, decimals, and units.
  • Numeric sorting for Text-based facet fields.
  • Ascending and descending sort options.
  • Support for special characters within facet values.

Availability: Change your Schema to enable Text Numeric on the underlying Text field to use the new numeric sort order for its facets.

Turn Missed Searches Into New Opportunities

Shoppers no longer have to keep checking for products that aren't available today. Saved Search & Alerts lets them save a search once and get notified when new or updated catalog items match their criteria.

What’s New

  • Save searches: Capture keywords, filters, price, location, category, and other search criteria.
  • Flexible alerts: Notify shoppers immediately or through daily or weekly digests.
  • Search management: Shoppers can edit, rerun, pause, or delete saved searches and view recent matches.
  • Automatic matching: Unbxd continuously checks new and updated catalog items against active saved searches.
  • Saved Search Analytics: Track active saved searches, popular queries, and match rates directly in the Unbxd Console.
  • Catalog demand insights: Identify high-demand searches with low match rates to uncover potential catalog or sourcing opportunities.

Availability: The Saved Search experience is powered by the Saved Search Indexing API, while analytics are available directly in the Unbxd Console.

Bring Location Into Search

Help shoppers find what’s closest to them with Proximity Search. Unbxd now lets search experiences filter or rank products based on their distance from a location, making location-aware discovery easier to build.

What’s New

  • Radius search: Find products within a specified distance of a location.
  • Bounding box search: Search within a defined geographic area.
  • Hard geo filtering: Exclude products outside a delivery, pickup, or service area.
  • Proximity boosting: Rank nearby products higher without removing other relevant results.
  • Flexible geo logic: Combine multiple locations and geographic conditions using AND and OR.

Whether it’s store pickup, local delivery, or location-based discovery, proximity search helps surface the right products in the right place. Refer here for the documentation.

Dynamic Slotting for Search and Browse

Dynamic Slotting introduces response-aware product placement for Search and Browse. Instead of assigning slots to fixed positions in the global result set, slot positions are evaluated against each API response. This keeps configured slot behavior consistent across pagination and applied filters.

What’s New

  • Response-based slot placement. Configure a slot size to control positions 1 through N of each API response, regardless of the page, filters, or total result count.
  • Search and Browse support. Apply Dynamic Slotting to individual search queries, categories, global rules, or segment-scoped rules.
  • Filter-aware slotting. Slot conditions are evaluated against the filtered response. Only qualifying products available in the current response can fill the configured slots.
  • Randomized product selection. Enable randomization to select qualifying products for the configured slots on each request. When disabled, the highest-ranked qualifying products fill the slots.
Flexible page scope. Apply Dynamic Slotting to Page 1 only or Every page, depending on the required experience.
  • Graceful fallback. If fewer qualifying products are available than the configured slot size, the remaining positions are filled with the next best organic results. If no products qualify, the slot group is skipped and organic ranking fills the positions.
  • Pin precedence. Existing Pin rules take precedence over Dynamic Slotting. When a Pin occupies a configured slot position, the slot group adjusts to the next available position.
  • Multiple slot groups. Configure multiple slot groups within a rule to control sequential position ranges in the response.
  • Existing Fixed Slotting remains unchanged. Dynamic Slotting is opt-in, so existing Fixed Slot rules continue to operate without changes.

With Dynamic Slotting, product placement can be configured relative to each Search or Browse response, allowing slot behavior to remain consistent as shoppers navigate pages and apply filters.
